Nana hasn´t had her childhood in Charming Red. I bought her when she was nearly two years old, both because I found her wonderful and because at that time I needed a female to continue breeding.

To put a grown female into an already existing pack of course gives some problems, and of course my old boyfriend and I met many of those problems. Nana is a very dominating female, and I already had one dominating female in my pack. Those two females had a lot of discussions before both of them found their place in the order of precedence. Today Nana completely found her place, and she has turned in to a perfect family dog.

Nana is the one dog, which I can always be sure is right next to me. When we are walking she always stays with me, and lets the others discover the world around us. She´d rather stay with me and take it easy walking, than running out looking for new adventures.

Nana is a kind and calm female, but if you put her in a stressful situation she can react quite insecure. She is also a dog with a very big “language”, and sometimes she nearly scares me because her body language and her facial expressions seem nearly human. This is especially if she is asking you to pet her. I can tell you, that I´m never in doubt about what Nana is thinking about this and that.

In our daily life I only have one problem with Nana; she thinks she is an excavator. If I let her out of my sight for just a few minutes, she turns my garden into one big hole. So it´s quite easy to see that she has been there.

Nana is the mother of my B-litter and my C-litter.

If I should describe Nana it would be “in need of being touched (all the time)”.

Heart of Darkness Dawn

Goozer she is called. Named after a very destructive lady, Goozer the Gogorian, who was the leader of all the ghosts in the movie “Ghostbusters”. Lucky us, our little princess is not as destructive as her namesake, but making trouble for her self seems to come very easily. So together with her, we can always be sure that something funny is about to happen.

Goozer really is an active little lady, and she can really give my old females a hard time. Lucky they have decided to split up the education and playing with Goozer, so only one of them is occupied by her at a time. But she really is an active puppy. You can see it when she is playing with other puppies of her own age. When they go to sleep, she is still running around, acting like a fool.

We are lucky that Goozer is always happy. We used to say about her granddad, Monty, that he was born with a “happy tail”. We can see that this part of Monty, is very big in Goozer, because she is always swinging her tail. Sometimes so much we are afraid she will break in two. She is really glad when we have company, and she loves to get attention from everyone around her. So if we are having a good time, she is always in the middle of everything.

Beside Goozer always being happy, she is a young dog with a huge ego. She is not aggressive or anything near that, but she is able to get every ones attention in a very short time, just by the way she acts. And if she puts on her charm, she is absolutely irresistible.

Goozer has come to Charming Red, in that hope she will end up being our new upcoming star
of our breeding program. Up to now she is growing and is becoming a very beautiful young female. If she continues she will end up being a very beautiful show-dog. Then we just hope, she will also be as healthy, as we want our breeding dogs to be.
